Winter NYC

The stories I heard and the images I had seen, attracted me to New York states concrete jungle. This monstrosity. This all in composing space.

And it did not disappoint.

It had its devilish detail of grandeur, but it also had inviting spaces, a sense of empathy. A warm blanket of comforting structures and sounds, found in its Repetition, familiarity and a relaxed sensation. And the train on its tracks tied it together, and trains melodic sound tucked me in and keeps me dreaming.

In that winter of 2008, I spent 6 weeks in New York City with just enough, to spend time and take photos.
